India is considered to be world’s biggest two wheeler market. India, now is taking big steps in electrifying its two wheeler’s. Major players like Hero Electric and Okinawa are trying hard to push hard electric Bikes on Indian roads. Many new companies and startups are entering the electric two wheeler domain like Ather Energy and Tork Motors. Other electric bikes manufacturer include Ampere motors, Oreva, Avon e-Scooter, Tunwal e-Scooter. Still electric bikes count less than 1 percent of the total bikes in India. The reason would be attributed to the lack of charging stations in India comparing to the ubiquitously available petrol or diesel stations.
